SPRING is an effective action group working towards a cure for Parkinson's
|
SPRING
was founded by Christine
and Philip Young and others whose common objective is to accelerate
the search for a cure for Parkinson's disease (Pd). Over 15 years SPRING has developed its role working for
improved co-ordination and increased funding of medical research into
Parkinson's focussing on finding the cause and a cure. SPRING is run by volunteers. Every member has
a personal experience of Parkinson's, either as a patient, carer, relative or
friend. in 1996 SPRING became a
constituted interest group within the Parkinson's Disease Society (PDS)
to further the promotion of medical research activities.
